Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

The safety and well-being of all individuals returning to campus is our number one priority. The safety and well-being of all individuals returning to campus is our number one priority. Masking in clinical facilities are still required per state guidelines. Everyone (patients, visitors, students, faculty/staff) are required to wear masks in any patient facing areas (lobby, elevators, waiting rooms, clinics etc.)

DRA has been working with TUSDM to secure PPE for all labs and personnel. Different levels of PPE must be worn depending on the research activity conducted. No one will be allowed to conduct research activities without proper PPE and no exceptions will be made. Please see below for additional guidance.
