Website Manager

Description:
ArtsEmerson seeks the right candidate to join the Marketing & Communications team as a Website Manager to manage and develop the websites for the Office of the Arts at Emerson College.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the development and maintenance of the websites and blog. Build webpages for performances and events.
  • Maintain a web content schedule for the organization and conduct routine audits
  • In conjunction with the Marketing & Communications and Audience Services teams, work to create the best possible user experience for patrons visiting the websites
  • In conjunction with the Senior Manager of Marketing & Communications, assist in developing web marketing strategies for broad-based and targeted audiences in digital advertising campaigns
  •     Manage digital media library, archive and media kits for ArtsEmerson productions
  •     Supervise part-time, student designers
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

3-5 years heavy experience in website design and web project management   . Bachelor’s degree required with strong preference for majors in web development and/or design or marketing. Strong HTML, CSS and Photoshop knowledge. Strong presentation and analytical skills. Experience with Google analytics, SEO/SEM and e-marketing a plus. Experience in ticket and patron relationship or communications a plus. Knowledge and passion for theatre and the performing arts. Action-oriented and self-motivated who can think strategically and imaginatively. Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
