Museum Preparator [Plattsburgh State Art Museum, Plattsburgh, NY]

Plattsburgh State Art Museum at SUNY College at Plattsburgh invites applications for a Museum Preparator. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, with a commitment to the care and management of over 10,000 art objects, and a changing exhibition program, a willingness to work one-on-one with students, and an appreciation of museum objects and knowledge of their care and presentation in traditional and non-traditional spaces. This individual will report directly to the Director of the Museum. $42,000 minimum salary, plus excellent benefits.
