Manager – Visitor Center & Design Store [Philip Johnson’s Glass House, New Canaan, CT]

The Visitor Center and Design Store Manager is an important position at the Glass House, responsible for ensuring that visitors, members and special guests receive essential information and attention from the first personal contact—whether on site, over the phone or via the internet–through the end of any visit. The position has additional responsibility for managing community relations and participation by the site in selected local events; working with the development team to ensure the integration of new artist’s editions into the overall Design Store display; coordinating photography of Design Store and relevant product selections for seasonal promotion, communications and online store; and maintaining data base of photography for use in Design Store promotions and communications.
