SUMMARY STATEMENT:

Assists the Manager, Office of the President, with administrative support for the President & Director, Chief Operating Officer, and VP Finance to ensure the smooth running of the office. Assists the Program Manager, Trustee and Overseer Relations, with Board-related administrative support. Maintains excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills along with the ability to handle several tasks concurrently, efficiently, and discreetly in a positive, proactive manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the Office of the President on a daily basis
  • Frequent contact with senior management, trustees, overseers, major donors, and other VIPs
  • Handles confidential materials on a daily basis
  • Oversees one (1) volunteer on a weekly basis

WORK SCHEDULE:

This position is full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday.
REPORTS TO:

Manager, Office of the President

Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors of Science/Arts or four year degree equivalent
  • Three (3) years or more of administrative experience
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated professionalism and discretion
  • Demonstrated ability to self-monitor and be pro-active
  • Ability to handle confidential material
  • Computer skills: PC Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook Calendar

STARTING SALARY:

Non-Exempt (Hourly). Commensurate with experience.
