Lesson 5.5 – What makes a good vaccine?

This lesson is intended to offer the students an opportunity to apply their knowl¬edge of immunology and infectious disease to learn about vaccination. We begin by asking students to discuss the qualities of a ‘good and bad’ vaccine, then, we review the processes needed to make immune memories as we look at common methods for vaccination.
