The Ivan Galantic Prize Winner: Abigail Gruskin

Abigail Gruskin (A20) is a budding journalist. She is described as someone who “has a deep consideration of trying to understand and analyze, while withholding judgment, the world from particular perspectives and cultural contexts that are different from her own.” This humility and curiosity will serve her well in her career and are reflective of her ability to integrate her studies as an Anthropology and English double major. Abigail has amassed a lot of journalism experiences while at Tufts and maintaining high academic achievement. Her reputation precedes her as numerous professors supported her for this award.

The Ivan Galantic Special Achievement in Humanities Prize is awarded to students who reach for wisdom, not simply knowledge.
