Prof. Kates-Garnick moderated “Towards Grid Decarbonisation” panel at International Solar Alliance’s First World Solar Technology Summit

On September 8, Prof Kates-Garnick moderated a panel. “Towards Grid Decarbonisation” at the International Solar Alliance’s (ISA) First World Solar Technology Summit, a global conference on solar with a focus upon India. Two of the speakers on the panel discussed solar generation from a technical and market/opportunity perspective and two of the speakers focused more closely on India’s projects and challenges. The summit itself addressed  the future of solar broadly within the context of finance, technology, and deployment as solar costs drop and the urgency of climate change intensifies.
