Dr. Ari Nathan

Dr. Nathan is currently a Foreign Service Officer with the United States government. Nathan has worked on four continents over the past 10 years, working on a range of issues such as securing renewable energy in Spain, civil society in Columbia, and economic development in Iraq. Currently, Nathan serves as the Regional Environment Officer in Kathmandu, Nepal. Prior to entering the foreign service, Nathan graduated from University of Southern California Gould with a law degree, practiced four years of law in California, then moved to Palau where he was the President’s legal counsel and Attorney General. Following his departure from Palau, Nathan obtained his PhD from The Fletcher School and worked briefly at the United Nations.
