Dr. Nishan Bhattarai

Dr. Nishan Bhattarai is currently a research fellow at the University of Michigan after spending one year as a predoctoral scholar with CIERP at The Fletcher School. Prior, Bhattarai was a STEM Mentor and Research Project Assistant with The Research Foundation for SUNY. Additionally, he has been a Research/Field Tech at the University of Illinois, a Graduate Assistant at ESF, a Conservation Strategy Intern at the World Wildlife Fund, and a Research Assistant at Auburn University.

Bhattarai received his Ph.D. from the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry and an M.S. from Auburn University. Learn more here.
