Dr. Timothy Afful-Koomson is a Chief Climate Finance Officer with the African Development Bank’s Safeguards and Compliance Division where he coordinates the Bank’s capacity development initiatives on Green Growth. He also coordinates the Bank’s implementation of the Regional Flagship Programs designed by the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment as part of the outcomes of Rio+20 and supports the Bank’s participation in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change process. Previously, Timothy was a Senior Fellow in Environmental Policy at the United Nations University, a Managing Partner at EcubeMetrix LLC, and a Senior Investment Advisor with Merrill Lynch. Timothy graduated from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University with a PhD in International Trade and Investment. Learn more here.
