Girlstart, a non-profit org committed to empowering girls in STEM, is hiring part-time program leaders for this spring semester. This is a PAID opportunity to work with students and lead fun, hands-on STEM lessons at nearby elementary after-school programs.
- The commitment is 5 hours per week: about 1.5 hour after school from about 3:00-4:30 pm one day per week at a nearby elementary school, plus your planning and travel time.
Job Description:
Girlstart is seeking MULTIPLE college-aged program leaders to lead fun, hands-on, STEM-focused after-school programs in the Boston area. This is a great opportunity to work directly with elementary school girls on hands-on science, engineering, technology, and math activities. Improve your leadership and communication skills, build your problem solving and critical thinking abilities, be a positive and meaningful role model, and change the lives for girls in your area! All majors and experience levels are welcome to apply!
