SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Accounts Payable Clerk works to ensure the accurate and timely payment of vendors and staff to help maintain a positive working relationship. Is responsible for maintaining neat and accurate Accounts Payable files. Act’s as a liaison to all departments to help resolve any issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the reviewing 150-200 invoices per month.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation of the corporate Amex and Amazon bills.
  • Interacts with members of other departments on a daily basis to resolve issues.

WORK SCHEDULE:

This position is full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.
REPORTS TO:

Controller

Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post high school course work, technical degree, associate’s degree or business certificate preferred.
  • Two (2) or more years of general accounts payable or museum experience.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate to outside vendors and internal staff to resolve issues.
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets.

STARTING SALARY:

Non-Exempt (Hourly). Commensurate with experience.
