The Frederick Melvin Ellis Prize Winner: Grace Goetcheus

Grace Goetcheus has combined her athletic accomplishments as a leader of the Women’s Swim Team with significant achievement in her chosen majors of Biology and Anthropology. In addition to her community engagement (such as teaching community swim lessons), Grace has maintained high grades in challenging pre-med courses and pursued independent fieldwork-based research in paleobiology.  

The Frederick Melvin Ellis Prize recognizes athletic versatility, academic achievement, and leadership.
