The Alex Elias Memorial Prize Winner: Grace Fabrycky

Grace Fabrycky (A20) is a Co-Captain of the Varsity Women’s Crew Team and exceptional scholar-athlete.  As a Sociology and Political Science double major, Grace has merged her interests in politics and social inequality and explored issues of justice, equality, rights, and citizenship through her time at Tufts.  Her recent capstone project focused on how Americans of different political persuasions consume, interpret, and respond to media portrayals of the current immigration ‘crisis’.  She is also a Synaptic Scholar through Tisch College, has volunteered as a mentor to incoming students for FOCUS, the community service pre-orientation program, and is a member of Model UN. 

The Alex Elias Memorial Prize Scholarship honors students who embody the qualities of scholar, athlete, and volunteer.
