Welcome International Students
Welcome to Fletcher! Our international students are crucial members of the Fletcher community, contributing a rich diversity of life experiences, professional and academic exposure, languages, culture, and unique perspectives. Whether you have frequently traveled overseas, have previously been to the United States, or are leaving your home country for the first time to come to Fletcher, you should be aware of several administrative specifics for international students, and you may have particular questions about arriving in the US and adjusting to life at Fletcher. We hope these resources will be useful to you as you confirm your enrollment and prepare for your arrival in Medford.
- Familiarize yourself with the visa and enrollment requirements for international students.
- Take a few moments to read some tips for international students, gathered from current Fletcher international students. This presentation is particularly useful as you decide what to pack, and begin considering your options for securing housing.
- Contact a current student! You can find a variety of current Fletcher students to contact with questions about life at Fletcher here. This is a great way to get additional advice on packing, local amenities, housing, and general information on arriving and settling in.
- Contact a current OSA international graduate assistant! I know that you may have many questions, ranging from housing to food, community to academics, and what we do for fun at Fletcher. We also have two upcoming sessions for a Meet and Greet with the international graduate assistant. Please make sure to register for one of these sessions using the following link.
