Russia’s ATAMCS Dilemma: Escalate the War or Pursue Peace?
By Mikhail Troitskiy, Visiting Scholar at the Fletcher Russia and Eurasia Program Faced with new Western munitions aiding Ukraine like ATACMS,
Welcome to the website of the Russia and Eurasia Program at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. Inaugurated in 2018, the program is dedicated to teaching and researching a broad range of historical and contemporary issues related to Russia, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus. Its mission is to educate future scholars and practitioners, generate cutting-edge scholarly analysis, and foster cooperation with academic institutions across the region.
The program includes the U.S.-Russia Relations Initiative. Through its connections with universities and think tanks throughout Russia and the United States, the initiative provides students and faculty with unique opportunities to participate in courses, events, research, and internships related to the bilateral relationship. The initiative hosts visiting scholars, conducts an ongoing speaker series, awards an annual book prize, offers funding for student research and internships, and supports student organizations such as the Fletcher Eurasia Club.
