The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy embarked on a one-week visit to North Macedonia, with a group of 12 master’s students and their mentors enriching their understanding of the local context and challenges. Throughout the study trip, they met with local foreign policy experts, practitioners, and students as well as with diplomats and policymakers from the United States and across the region; took part in panel discussions, roundtables, and guest lectures at local universities and think tanks. They also visited the city of Tetova, where they had the chance to meet and engage in conversation with experts about various topics.
This visit was part of the study trip in the region including Kosovo and Serbia, with the aim of exploring Russia’s geopolitical position in Southeast Europe. The study trip was organized by the Fletcher Russia and Eurasia Program.
