Valdai Club Experts Meet With MGIMO and Fletcher Students
On March 21, 2019, experts from the Valdai Discussion Club met with students from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University) and The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
Programme Director at the Valdai Discussion Club Timofei Bordachev, Senior Research Fellow at the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Far Eastern Studies Vasily Kashin, Programme Director at the Valdai Discussion Club Yaroslav Lissovolik, and Deputy Director at the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies at National Research University Higher School of Economics Dmitry Suslov shared their views on a wide range of issues regarding the development of China’s Belt and Road project. In particular, they discussed economic, demographic, and transportation problems associated with Eurasian integration.
The meeting was a part of a joint educational program for graduate students, organized by MGIMO University and The Fletcher School held on March 14-24 in Moscow.
