Vitaly Kozyrev: Cold War 2.0 and the Prospect of a Russia-China Condominium in Eurasia

On February 6, 2025, the Fletcher Eurasia Club held a conversation with Vitaly Kozyrev, a Distinguished Professor of Political Science and International Studies at Endicott College. As Western leaders try to develop new approaches to the recent disturbing geopolitical rivalries, fundamental shifts have occurred in the strategies of Russia and China in Eurasia. The prospect of a looming new cold war prompts the leaders in Moscow and Beijing to challenge the Euro-Atlantic security and economic order, replacing it with new regional economic initiatives along with a new exclusive indivisible security system in Eurasia.
