Claire Charters Talk: Indigenous Rights in International and Constitutional Law

Join the Fletcher Decolonizing International Relations team in welcoming Claire Charters as the first guest in their Decolonizing IR Fall Speaker Series at 6pm on September 9th!

Dr. Claire Charters is a co-director of the Aotearoa New Zealand Centre for Indigenous Peoples and the Law and an associate professor at the University of Auckland. Dr. Charters’ primary area of research is in Indigenous peoples’ rights in international and constitutional law, often with a comparative focus. She will be speaking on the role and impact of international and constitutional law on Indigenous communities.
