Leir Talks @ Fletcher with Sasha Chanoff: Lasting Solutions for Refugees Through Self-Reliance – RefugePoint (Global Tufts Month Event)

Sasha Chanoff, F04, Founder and CEO of RefugePoint, will discuss the role of NGOs in fostering refugee self-reliance. His talk, part of Global Tufts Month, aligns with the 2025 theme of Global Health Equity.

A humanitarian leader and co-author of From Crisis to Calling: Finding Your Moral Center in the Toughest Decisions, Sasha has received numerous awards, including the Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the Charles Bronfman Prize. He serves as a Goodwill Ambassador for the Aurora Prize and was appointed Human Rights and Humanitarian Advisor by the Leir Foundation. Sasha holds a Master of Arts in Humanitarian Assistance (MAHA) from The Fletcher School and The Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy.

This event is open to members of the Fletcher and Tufts communities and invited guests.
