Investigative Journalism Techniques for Field Research

Fletcher faculty and students: are you planning field research this summer? Digging deep into complex issues can often be challenging. What if your respondent is being vague? What if you hear something shocking? How can you triangulate your findings and fact check your sources? Come and learn some new techniques from Boston-based investigative journalists from the Center for Non-Profit Journalism. We’ll be focusing in particular on research on technology and humanitarian issues in the field.

Generous sponsorship from the Leir Institute and the Hitachi Center makes this event free to you. Space is limited, so register here, and be sure to cancel if you can no longer make it.
