STEM Career Exploration

Day 5 Option #2 of the BioScann Stress curriculum is an optional day for classes that want to dive deeper into STEM and STEM-adjacent careers. Using the STEM Career Exploration Activity in the workbook, students complete an online assessment in which they rate their current skill level in 40 areas from beginner to expert to discover careers that match their skill set. Students then research different aspects of a career, such as income, education and growth rates, organizing their research into an infographic that they can use to share the career with their peers at the end of class.
