STAAR Center Writing Fellow (Tufts University)

The StAAR Center is hiring Writing Fellows for the 2024-2025 academic year!

Writing Fellows are undergraduate peer tutors who work with students in specific classes on 2-3 assignments per semester. For full details about the position and the application link, students can visit the Work with StAAR page.

Applications will be open through February 11th. All majors are welcome, and there are no GPA or letter grade requirements to apply.

Graduate Positions Open within Tufts University’s Division of Student Affairs

Several of the Division of Student Affairs offices, the Office of Residential Life and Learning, the Office of Campus Life, and the Office of Health Promotion have open graduate positions that will begin interviewing for in early April.

Students who fill out the application before 9am on March 30th will be given priority to interview, but will accept applications up until Thursday, April 6th.

StAAR Center Graduate Academic Mentor

The StAAR Center is beginning its search for new Graduate Academic Mentors for the 2023-2024 school year! Academic Mentors are master’s or PhD students who meet one-on-one with students to help them develop academic skills such as time management, study strategies, note-taking skills, and more! We are looking for graduate students who are enthusiastic and passionate about helping others to join our team.

We are looking to hire a diverse team representing a wide variety of academic disciplines and backgrounds. Your support of our program is appreciated!

Compensation for this role is $21/hour. Hours are flexible, and we are looking for students who are willing to work 5-10 hours/week. The application is open from February 13th through March 17th. The link to apply is below and can also be found on our flyer.

We will also be holding two info sessions coming up on February 8th and February 14th.
