Extended Day & Enrichment Programs
Our Extended Day and Enrichment Program is open to children enrolled in our Preschool and K-1 programs and offered from Monday to Friday. It aims to provide children of different ages plenty of opportunities to interact with one another in a nurturing and stimulating environment that allows them ample time to rest with activities, dive into projects led by peers or teachers, stretch their imagination, and exercise their developing skills.
Children grow familiar with one another and with their teachers, creating a close-knit group that feels like family. Every child is valued. Every child is visible. Every child belongs.
Extended Day and Enrichment Programs
Extended Day runs from 12:30 to 4:00pm Monday thru Friday. Projects and activities are designed to be experiential, hands-on, flexible, and according to the levels of children in the class. Teachers bring their own interests and enthusiasm to design projects that engage children, families and the school community in different ways.
Families can enroll their children in our Extended Day Program for a minimum of 2 days per week:
- Rainbow Room, Purple Room, and Green Room – 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Orange Room – 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Life Project
Life Project is held each day from 4:00 – 5:30pm, and offers a cozy space where children can relax and build relationships while exploring, learning, and developing a variety of life skills. It promotes creativity, problem solving skills and the development of a more intimate after school community. A variety of project-based activities will be offered in small and large-group format, spanning the areas of creative arts, problem solving, mindfulness, technology, and beyond. Teachers and staff will participate in ongoing observation and reflection to build a program that is engaging and meaningful.
