Trans-Atlantic Relations: Political and Economic Security Dimensions

We are pleased to be able to offer this event in person for the first time in three years, in an enhanced format that will offer unprecedented remote engagement for those unable to join us in person.Throughout the three-day schedule, much of the programming will be offered via Zoom in order to include as many interested alumni as possible. • Bathsheba Nell Crocker, F96, U.S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Other International Organizations in Geneva.
• Rebeca Grynspan: Secretary-General of United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
• John E. Herbst, F80, Senior Director of the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center, former US Ambassador to Ukraine and Uzbekistan, and frequent media commentator and contributor.
• Arancha González Laya, Dean of PSIA at Sciences Po, former Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, former Assistant-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the International Trade Centre, former Chief of Staff at the World Trade Organization.

Ms. Crocker, Mr. Herbst and Ms. Gonzalez Laya will be joined in discussion by members of the Fletcher faculty, including Bhaskar Chakravorti, Daniel Drezner, Francesca Giovannini, Abigail Linnington, F04, F13, and John Shattuck.
