The US in the Eyes of Russians: Model, Possible Friend or Forever Foe?

October 23, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Please join the Murrow Center and Russia and Eurasia Program at The Fletcher School for a virtual discussion with Lisbeth Tarlow, chair of Fletcher’s board of advisors, and Andrey Kortunov, Director General of the Russian International Affairs Council. The interview will focus on how the United States is perceived in Russia. Please make sure to register for the Zoom webinar here.

Tarlow will ask Kortunov a series of questions about how American foreign policy, culture, and political values are perceived by the Russian public and elites, what influence the United States has in Russia through soft power and public diplomacy, how issues of misinformation and disinformation affect relations between Russia and the United States. There will also be designated time for questions from the audience afterward.
