Babysitter Needed for Tuesday/Thursday Afternoons – Winchester, MA

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for a responsible and fun babysitter for my two kids (ages 6 and 9) on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:45 PM to 5:45 PM. The role involves picking the kids up from school, driving them to their appointments, and keeping them entertained in between.

Details:

  • Kids: Fun, funny, and engaging! My son loves to read, and my daughter loves to color and play games. Both are independent and mostly self-sufficient.
  • Hours: Tuesday/Thursday afternoons (1:45 PM – 5:45 PM), with the possibility of adding Monday afternoons. Additional hours available for evenings and weekends.
  • Requirements: Must have a car to drive the kids to and from appointments. We do not allow screen time.
  • Pay: $25/hour + gas money.

Hi Jumbos! I’m Kara Vidal, a Tufts alumna (A&S ’10), and I’m looking for a reliable babysitter to help with my two kids, ages 4 and 6. The position involves picking up the kids on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 3:30 PM and hanging out with them until 5:00 PM.

Location: We’re located just outside of Davis Square

We’re seeking someone with childcare experience, starting in early to mid-January. There is also potential for more hours during the summer if we’re a good fit for each other!

Pay: $24-26/hour, based on experience.

Hi! I’m a single mom in East Somerville looking for a reliable and caring babysitter/”big sister” type of caregiver for my fourth-grade daughter on Tuesday evenings.

Details:

  • Hours: Tuesdays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  • Pay: $20 per hour
  • Duties: Pick up from school, walk home (about 6 minutes), help with dinner (already prepared), assist with homework, and hang out.
  • My Daughter: She plays the flute, loves drawing, and enjoys reading!

Live in/ Live out part time babysitter for 2 year old girl

A family near Winter Hill school in Somerville is looking for a babysitter:

Our family is looking for a part-time babysitter, starting in September, to care for our happy kiddo who will be 2 years old this fall. Responsibilities will include taking her to activities at the library and playgroup, feeding snack, reading books, doing arts and crafts, diaper changing, playing indoors and at the playground and putting her down for a nap. She loves the outdoors, music and arts and crafts!

I’ll be working from home most of the time while you’re here. We’re offering work for the full academic year but can accommodate semester breaks and holidays. This can be negotiated as live in or live out position.

Schedule/Hours

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9:00 – 1:30
  • Additional hours possible if interested
  • 4-year-old sister will be home on Wednesdays after 12:30 and on days when there is no school

Babysitter for young children (Arlington) (8/5-8/9)

Hello! We are looking for a babysitter for our two children (4.5 and 1.5 years old) from August 5-9. We would love if you are also available for occasional date nights. We are seeking someone who is responsible, caring, and experienced. 

Duties: playing inside and outside (including walking to the nearby park), changing diapers, feeding, putting our toddler down for naps, tidying up after the kids. We are ideally looking for someone who can drive the kids to a planned activity that week (using our car.)  

Location: We live in Arlington and have street parking. 

Requirements: 3+ years with young children; CPR/first-aid certified; up to date on all vaccines, including COVID and flu vaccines/boosters; non-smoker; excellent references; clean criminal record and a good driving record. Preferred qualifications: experience with children with severe allergies.

I am looking for a reliable babysitter starting May 20th for my twin 9 year old daughters in Beverly, MA. For the months of May and June, babysitting will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 2-5, including drop offs at activities. A family located in Winchster, MA is looking for occasional help driving 2 young teens to/from camp and afternoon activities this summer (2024) and next school year (2024-25). Wednesdays and Thursdays are the biggest need – but could add other days if desired!
