Afternoon Nanny Needed [Winchester]

We’re looking for a reliable, caring babysitter/nanny to help with our two daughters (ages 3 and 1) in Winchester, Massachusetts.

Schedule:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • 3:00–5:30 p.m. (approx. 3 hours/day)

Job Details:

  • Pick up our 3-year-old from preschool at 3:00 p.m. in Winchester (5 mins from home)
  • Spend time at home for snack and play or go to a nearby activity (park, library, etc.). Mom will be home M&F in her office. 
  • Around 4:30–4:45 p.m., pick up our 1-year-old from daycare (5 minutes from home).
  • Bring both girls home and stay until about 5:30 p.m., helping with lunch unpacking and light dinner prep.

We’ll provide a car with car seats for all pickups and driving. You just need to be able to get to Winchester.

Our 3 year old is curious and loving. She enjoys dancing, arts and crafts, pretend play, Frozen, and the park. Our 1 year old is a ball of joy who likes snacks and babbling.

Babysitting Our Fun 3 Year Old [Lexington]

Looking for afternoon care on weekdays and weekends for 3 year-old son. The frequency would be about 3-4 times a month, if not more.

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities would be undertaking appropriate creative/educational/outdoor activities, reading to and with our son, reinforcing appropriate discipline, and tidying play areas. We have two cats who are very friendly and won’t require any monitoring. No housework or meal prep required. We live within a 10 minute walk from Downtown Lexington.

He is adventurous, friendly, creative, and is a ton of fun! He loves playgrounds, trucks and making new friends.

We are looking for someone who enjoys the company of toddlers, warm and kind with an adventurous spirit. A background in child development and/or experience babysitting would come in handy (though isn’t necessary). 

Requested Hours:  Occasional Thursdays and Fridays 3-6 and occasional Saturdays/Sundays from 12-4 or 4-6.

Pay: $20-$25 based on experience.

Start date: ASAP, through the rest of the semester, and hopefully next semester (and next year), too.

Description: We are looking for evening care (3 times a week to start, from 5-7pm) for our one year old son. The ask would be to pick him up at 5pm from his daycare, bring him home, and assist with overseeing him through bedtime. We are looking for a babysitter from 9:30-4:30 on October 14/15 (timing is flexible and does not need to be the whole day) as well as someone who could help with occasional evening and weekend care. 

We have a very sweet, active, almost 5 year old. He loves to build and play at any of the parks nearby. He also likes to go to the library/museum of science or other activities. 

Pay starts at $25 an hour but willing to work with you based on experience. No car/driving needed but we can provide off street parking if you do have a car.

Babysitter [Medford/Malden]

Details: Babysitting/in home care for our 2.5 year old son who loves to play and spend time with others! He is very friendly, social, sweet, and has all developmental milestones. He is very verbal and independent for 2.5 yrs old making it easy to communicate his wants and needs. 

We live in a single family home with a fenced in yard, across the street from a lovely public park with walking paths and a beautiful pond. In the spring it is known for all the ducklings and goslings that wander around. Additionally, we live .3 miles from another park with a child’s playground, basketball court, tennis courts, and sports fields. We also live within walking distance from coffee shops, restaurants, Medford Target, and many more stores.

Our son loves spending time outside (weather permitting). In addition to playing with our son during this time, you will be responsible for monitoring him and giving him provided snack/meals. (We have all snack/lunches prepared for sitters so it is easier, you simply just have to give it to him when he is hungry and monitor him so he eats his food safely.)

Both my husband and I work remotely so will be upstairs the majority of the time. With the exception of occasionally leaving the house to run errands, to the gym, or work related trips. (we try our best to stay out of the way but are around to assist if needed. (e.g Babysitter needs a break/take a lunch, we can come down to provide relief

Job requirements: A car to travel to our home, previous babysitting experience (references upon request), familiarity with dogs (we have a family dog who is 11yrs old, VERY FRIENDLY, LOVES PEOPLE) and should be open to changing pull ups (can also teach this skill as we did with 2 other babysitters from Tufts last year but it should be noted we are about to potty train so this is not a requirement! CPR certification is a plus but not required! 

Hours: Flexibility if needed/lets chat! Primarily we are looking to provide 4-5 hours of childcare, primarily between the hours of 9-1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We would be open to sitters that are open the entire 9-5 slot on Tuesdays as well. Can be flexible around class schedules or practices if needed, just need notice to accommodate work schedules.
