Babysitter(s) Needed/Porter Square – February Dates (2 Children, Ages 4 & 2)

Tufts university administrator seeking a reliable, engaging babysitter (or multiple sitters) for two children (ages 4 and 2). Both children are fully potty trained.

Dates needed:

February 11, 12, 13, (possibly 14th), 17, 18, and 19

Hours:

Flexible between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM while my spouse and I are working

We’d also be open to late night hours the 13th or 14th to enjoy a date night

We are hoping for a minimum of 4 hours per day

We understand schedules vary and are open to working with more than one caregiver, so please feel free to reach out even if you’re only available for some of the dates or partial days.

Responsibilities include:

Age-appropriate play and supervision

Light assistance with snacks/meals

Outings to local libraries, parks and museums

We are happy to cover transportation costs for planned outings as well as museum admission fees.

Ideal candidates are dependable, enjoy planning simple activities, and are comfortable caring for young children independently.

Location: Porter Square (accessible from campus by 96 bus or red line from Davis)

Pay: $20-25 per hour based on experience

This job includes picking our kids up from school in Cambridge, bringing them home to our house in Newton and spending the evening with them till after dinner time. This job is perfect for a graduate student, a teacher and other roles. Babysitter Needed for 15-Month-Old (Jan 31st, Medford)

Description: Hello! We are a local family seeking a warm, energetic, and reliable babysitter for January 31st while my husband is out of town for the weekend. We have an active and curious 15-month-old who loves to play and explore!

The Role: I will be at home tackling house chores, admin, and organization, but I need a second set of hands to engage with our child, supervise playtime, and manage snack/meal times/bed time. You won’t be alone, but I need a dedicated block of time where I can focus on tasks knowing the baby is safe and having fun.

Schedule: 

  • Saturday, Jan 31: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM 

Requirements:

  • Experience with toddlers (specifically the 12–18 month stage).
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and a strong communicator.

Compensation: $25–$30 per hour (based on experience).

After School Pickup Friday (Arlington, MA) Thompson School

Description and Duties: we are looking for a responsible babysitter for our 1-year old daughter. Mostly just watch and play with her at our house, while mom working at home. 

Schedule: 2-3 hours per day for 2-5 days per week with certain flexibility on days from Monday to Sunday, preferably in the afternoon

Part-time Driver for Kids Activities Needed in Arlington (Jan–June 2026)

We are Tufts alums seeking a responsible driver to help us transport our 11 year old and 15 year old to after school activities on weekdays. 

What: Drive kids from school to activities, or drive them home from school or activities, depending on the day.  You do not need to stay, after dropping them off.

When: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons, varying between 3:00pm – 5:00pm depending on the day, beginning ASAP

Where: Kids are in school at LES and AHS in Arlington. Our house is in Arlington, near Stratton Elementary.  Activities are at Thompson Elementary, or Waltham Athletic Club.

Rate: We pay $25 an hour.

Baby Sitting 1-2 nights per week, Medford Square

Description: We need someone to sit our infant (born in November) one-two nights per week through the end of 2026 so that mom and dad can tend to house chores and go on the occasional date.

​The Schedule: Once to twice per week (~5-10pm, occaisionally later) for 3-5 hours. Total of 3-10 hours per week, with a predicted average of 5 hours (one five hour evening). Flexible on which nights, although we’d like a Saturday or two per month.

​Other notes: Very light house keeping (clean up dishes in the kitchen & letting our very mellow and well behaved dog out to pee)

We are a French family looking for a responsible and respectful person to help us care for our two children (10 and 11 years old) from January through June/July 2026. Both children attend the International School of Boston (ISB) on Matignon Road.

​The Schedule: Weekdays only.

​Morning (occasionally): Drop-off at school by 8:00 AM.

​Afternoon (regularly): Pick-up at 3:30 PM or 5:00 PM (depending on their activities).

​Extracurriculars: Driving them once a week to activities in Cambridge or Medford.

​Work Travel: 1–2 times per month, we travel for business (1 to 4 days during the week). During these times, we need someone to stay at the house to manage evenings, meals, school routines, and walking our dog.

I’m a Tufts alum seeking an experienced sitter for my 5 year old and 7 year old. 

What: Pick the kids up from the bus, take them to the playground or library (both adjacent to the bus stop), bring them back to our house. 

When: Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 3:30pm – 5:30pm, beginning ASAP

Where: Bus stop, park, library, and our house are all a 10 minute walk from Davis Square. No car required.

Rate: We pay $25-28 an hour based on experience.

Potential for additional evenings and weekends if we’re a good fit for each other.
