SETUP AND SAFE OPERATION

  • Set the light behind the machine to 2
  • 1 blade is pushed down and cuts (one tooth like chizel)
  • Place piece along the straight edge (fence) flat on the table
  • Make sure the mark on your piece is coincident with edge of the table
  • Place hands on piece away from blade guard
  • Step firmly on foot bar (support yourself for balance and watch your toes)
  • Bar is spring loaded so be careful when stepping off
  • If piece falls under the machine, sit on the bar and grab your piece
  • No burr on piece because it pushed it all off at once

 

CLEANUP

  • Clean table, floor, and surrounding work area
  • TURN OFF LIGHT
