As we approach the end of the semester, we wanted to remind you about an incredible program we offer at Studio Institute. We provide apprenticeship-based internship opportunities for undergraduate students (Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors) interested in the arts.

Babysitter Needed 3 Afternoons a Week (Around Davis Square)

Hi Jumbos! I’m Kara Vidal, a Tufts alumna (A&S ’10), and I’m looking for a reliable babysitter to help with my two kids, ages 4 and 6. The position involves picking up the kids on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 3:30 PM and hanging out with them until 5:00 PM.

Location: We’re located just outside of Davis Square

We’re seeking someone with childcare experience, starting in early to mid-January. There is also potential for more hours during the summer if we’re a good fit for each other!

Pay: $24-26/hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree required MA Certification highly desired
● Experience in elementary education preferred
● Effective oral, written communication and presentation skills
● Ability to collaborate with other staff

Looking for a Babysitter for Tuesday evenings (East Somerville)

Hi! I’m a single mom in East Somerville looking for a reliable and caring babysitter/”big sister” type of caregiver for my fourth-grade daughter on Tuesday evenings.

Details:

  • Hours: Tuesdays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  • Pay: $20 per hour
  • Duties: Pick up from school, walk home (about 6 minutes), help with dinner (already prepared), assist with homework, and hang out.
  • My Daughter: She plays the flute, loves drawing, and enjoys reading!

I will be out of the house during these hours and would love to set up a Zoom interview followed by a paid trial date (with me at home) to ensure a good fit.

Snow Shoveling Availability (Dec 20–30, 2024)

Description:
Are you around the Tufts area during the holidays and available for some light snow shoveling? We’re looking for someone to be responsible for snow shoveling at a house off Curtis St., very close to Tufts campus, between December 20 and December 30, 2024.

You will receive a $50 stipend just for being available, and $30 per hour for actual snow shoveling if there is snow to clear. The job includes shoveling the sidewalk and stairs.

Occasional Childcare for Elementary School Children (Danvers, MA)

We’re seeking an occasional babysitter for two children in first and third grade who can work on a weekday evening or during school holidays. Duties will include playing games and enjoying violin practice with the children.

Location:
