Description: We have two children aged 8 and 4 and are looking for help 2 to 3 evenings a week. This job includes picking our kids up from school in Cambridge, bringing them home to our house in Newton and spending the evening with them till after dinner time. This job is perfect for a graduate student, a teacher and other roles. Below you will find more specifics on what we are looking for: – A loving caretaker for our two young children. – Car and active driver’s license. Part-time Driver for Kids Activities Needed in Arlington (Jan–June 2026)

We are Tufts alums seeking a responsible driver to help us transport our 11 year old and 15 year old to after school activities on weekdays. 

What: Drive kids from school to activities, or drive them home from school or activities, depending on the day.  You do not need to stay, after dropping them off.

When: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons, varying between 3:00pm – 5:00pm depending on the day, beginning ASAP

Where: Kids are in school at LES and AHS in Arlington. Our house is in Arlington, near Stratton Elementary.  Activities are at Thompson Elementary, or Waltham Athletic Club.

Rate: We pay $25 an hour.

Tuesday/Thursdsy Afternoon Babysitting, [10 minute walk to Davis Square]

I’m a Tufts alum seeking an experienced sitter for my 5 year old and 7 year old. 

What: Pick the kids up from the bus, take them to the playground or library (both adjacent to the bus stop), bring them back to our house. 

When: Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 3:30pm – 5:30pm, beginning ASAP

Where: Bus stop, park, library, and our house are all a 10 minute walk from Davis Square. No car required.

Rate: We pay $25-28 an hour based on experience.

Childcare Needed [West Medford]

Description: We are searching for part time childcare help starting immediately or December/January (start date and schedule are flexible) continuing through the end of the school year with option for Summer if desired. Located in West Medford (intersection of Playstead Rd and Winthrop St) about a mile from West Medford Square – there are some public transport options in the area, a car is more convenient for our location. We are welcoming a new baby into the family and could use some extra attention for our funny and sweet 4 yo daughter. 

Schedule: 2-3 afternoons per week from ~2:45p-5:15p. Flexibility here for week to week variability or more or less hours if desired. 

Duties: Pick up our 4yo daughter from school, which is either a ~3 min drive or 15 min walk, car can be provided for pickup or you are welcome to use yours. Play with her at a location of your choosing such as at the library, in our home, playground (weather permitting), etc. A pre approved budget can be provided for some activities upon request.

Rate: Starting at ~$22/hr and up pending experience and level of independence

Benefits can be available and variable depending on mutually agreed upon arrangements.

After School Caregiver Needed – 3 days a week [Medford]

Looking for a warm, patient, and dependable caregiver for our 3-year-old son (and occasionally our infant).  

Our energetic and adventurous 3-year-old loves exploring the nearby Fells, playing outdoors in any weather, and building forts both inside and out. He also enjoys helping in the kitchen, especially with baking, and has fun creating imaginative structures with Magna-Tiles and Legos.

Details:

  • Days: Monday–Thursday (at least 3 days/week)
  • Time: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
  • Dates: December 2025 – June 2026 (optional morning, school holiday, and occasional weekend hours available)
  • Location: Medford, near Medford High School/Victory Park

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome our 3-year-old home from preschool and supervise age-appropriate play, crafts, or outdoor activities
  • Prepare and clean up an afternoon snack 
  • Assist with handwashing, bathroom breaks, and light tidying
  • Occasionally help with infant care (higher hourly rate when both children are present)

Compensation: $20 – $25/hour depending on experience

Bonus: Monetary completion bonus for commitment through June 12, 2026

After-School Caregiver Needed – Wednesdays (Medford, MA)

Looking for a responsible and caring after-school caregiver for two children (Kindergarten and 3rd grade).

Details:

  • Day: Wednesdays
  • Time: 2:45 PM pickup at Brooks Elementary (Medford) and watch until 6:15 PM
  • Dates: 12/1 – 4/1 (excluding school vacation weeks: 12/24, 12/31, 2/18)
  • Duties:
    • Pick up both children from Brooks Elementary in Medford, MA
    • Feed a snack at home
    • Drive the kids to a 30-minute swim lesson at Goldfish Swim School in Burlington (for one child, but both will accompany)
    • Prepare a quick 10 minute meal for the kids (heat and serve a ready-made meal) 
  • Requirements:

Afternoon Nanny Needed [Winchester]

We’re looking for a reliable, caring babysitter/nanny to help with our two daughters (ages 3 and 1) in Winchester, Massachusetts.

Schedule:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • 3:00–5:30 p.m. (approx. 3 hours/day)

Job Details:

  • Pick up our 3-year-old from preschool at 3:00 p.m. in Winchester (5 mins from home)
  • Spend time at home for snack and play or go to a nearby activity (park, library, etc.). Mom will be home M&F in her office. 
  • Around 4:30–4:45 p.m., pick up our 1-year-old from daycare (5 minutes from home).
  • Bring both girls home and stay until about 5:30 p.m., helping with lunch unpacking and light dinner prep.

We’ll provide a car with car seats for all pickups and driving. You just need to be able to get to Winchester.

Our 3 year old is curious and loving. She enjoys dancing, arts and crafts, pretend play, Frozen, and the park. Our 1 year old is a ball of joy who likes snacks and babbling.

Babysitter Needed [Medford]

Description: We are looking for evening care (3 times a week to start, from 5-7pm) for our one year old son. The ask would be to pick him up at 5pm from his daycare, bring him home, and assist with overseeing him through bedtime. The daycare is within walking distance from the home as well so can drive or walk depending on weather. Parents would be in the home most evenings starting between 5:45pm and 6pm. Ideal applicant has their own transportation, is CPR certified, has experience caring for young toddlers, and lives in Medford or surrounding area.

Babysitter [Medford/Malden]

Details: Babysitting/in home care for our 2.5 year old son who loves to play and spend time with others! He is very friendly, social, sweet, and has all developmental milestones. He is very verbal and independent for 2.5 yrs old making it easy to communicate his wants and needs. 

We live in a single family home with a fenced in yard, across the street from a lovely public park with walking paths and a beautiful pond. In the spring it is known for all the ducklings and goslings that wander around. Additionally, we live .3 miles from another park with a child’s playground, basketball court, tennis courts, and sports fields. We also live within walking distance from coffee shops, restaurants, Medford Target, and many more stores.

Our son loves spending time outside (weather permitting). In addition to playing with our son during this time, you will be responsible for monitoring him and giving him provided snack/meals. (We have all snack/lunches prepared for sitters so it is easier, you simply just have to give it to him when he is hungry and monitor him so he eats his food safely.)

Both my husband and I work remotely so will be upstairs the majority of the time. With the exception of occasionally leaving the house to run errands, to the gym, or work related trips. (we try our best to stay out of the way but are around to assist if needed. (e.g Babysitter needs a break/take a lunch, we can come down to provide relief) 

Job requirements: A car to travel to our home, previous babysitting experience (references upon request), familiarity with dogs (we have a family dog who is 11yrs old, VERY FRIENDLY, LOVES PEOPLE) and should be open to changing pull ups (can also teach this skill as we did with 2 other babysitters from Tufts last year but it should be noted we are about to potty train so this is not a requirement! CPR certification is a plus but not required! 

Hours: Flexibility if needed/lets chat! Primarily we are looking to provide 4-5 hours of childcare, primarily between the hours of 9-1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We would be open to sitters that are open the entire 9-5 slot on Tuesdays as well. Can be flexible around class schedules or practices if needed, just need notice to accommodate work schedules. 

Location: Our house is nestled in between the Medford/Malden town line (approx 10 min drive from campus)

Nanny Needed [Medford]

Description: We are a family in Medford (Dad is Tufts Alum) looking for an energetic, dependable Nanny for our two children (ages 7 and 5). Children will need to be picked up from Brooks School and watched until the completion of the work day. Mom primarily works from home and will be in a separate part of the house. Afternoon activities may include snack time, playing at home / in the neighborhood, taking kids to afternoon activities (e.g., dance, gymnastics, etc.), visiting the library. 

What: Afternoon babysitter 

When: 2-4 days / week, flexible on which days; 2:30 – 5:30PM; ideal candidate will start in end of October (we can be flexible around school breaks, exam weeks, and next semester schedule)
