Babysitting Position (North Cambridge)

We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old whose daycare lets out early on Fridays. We’re looking for someone to pick them up, walk them ten minutes to our house, and then play with them until we’re back from work (about 4pm-7pm). Think snacks, park, toys. We’re in North Cambridge, near Raymond Park.

Fridays would be the main focus, but we’d also looking for some date night and after work coverage as needed.

Pay: $25-28, depending on qualifications.

Afterschool Babysitter Needed Mon/Tues/Wed Afternoons (Winchester)

Job Description: We are looking for an after-school babysitter for our children (5 yo and 9 yo boys; also have 12 yo and 14 yo girls but they need less supervision) to make sure they get home from school safely (almost always walking on their own), supervise them, and drive to/from after-school activities as needed. We are an active and busy family and the kids love to play outside and do Legos. We also have a big, friendly dog. Will need a car to get here and drive kids but we are only about 10 minutes from Tufts.

Hours: Looking for Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 2-6 pm but we have some flexibility so please reach out if interested for any days or times within this range. 

Start Date: as soon as possible

Pay: $22/hour.

Babysitter Needed (Roslindale)

We have two children and live in Roslindale near Cummins Highway and are close to buses and Forest Hills. I am looking for care for my youngest (she’s 3 in December) for Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting at 2pm and staying until 5pm.

We are flexible to add some hours if needed and pay $20/hr for babysitting. Happy to have a discussion about pay and what people feel they need to make it worthwhile.

Weekday Babysitting (Winchester)

Hello! We are looking for a regular babysitter to look after our sweet 11-month-old daughter for around 3 hours a day on 2 weekdays. Days and hours can be flexible.

Location : Winchester about 10 minutes away from Tufts by car.

Requirements: Must be COVID vaccinated and have at least one reference from past experience with a one-year-old.

Part-time Nanny

Hello! Our family is looking for a wonderful part-time nanny for 15 hours/week to look after two fun, energetic, inquisitive kids: Nate (6) and Soraya (3) after their school day. The hours will be 2-5 pm and the ideal start date is mid-September. Both will be attending school in Union square Somerville.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick up the kids daily from preschool / school, starting at 2pm
  • Bring them home to Prospect Hill (5 minutes from union square)- Have (responsible) fun with them though until 5pm.
  • Some additional extended days for early school release days, state holidays and potentially summer
  • Transport to activities/sports one-two day/week

Pay: $25-$30 depending on experience and qualifications.

Benefits : Guaranteed minimum of 12 hours / week. Paid vacations 1-2 weeks/year

We are a bilingual household (French/English) , and would love someone that is fluent in French and willing to speak french with the kids but that’s optional

Alumni Looking for Recurring Babysitter in Medford, Off Winthrop St.

We are looking for a regular babysitter for my 2.5 year old daughter and 6mo son.  Ideally we’d like someone who can come spend an hour with us 1-2/wk to help my daughter warm-up to someone new, then help with occasional date nights (weekday and/or weekends!) or set a recurring schedule – we are flexible! 

We live 15-20 min walking distance to Tufts but happy to help with pick-up/drop-off as needed. We also have a small pup at home who is very friendly and low-maintenance!

Babysitting Job (West Medford)

I am a Tufts alum and local teacher and mom, looking for a regular after school sitter for my 8 year old son and occasionally my 3 year old daughter. We live in West Medford one block from the Brooks school, where my son attends.

We need someone Monday – Friday for daily school pickup of my son, supervising of homework and after school activities. Hours would be 2:30-4:30, Wednesdays 1:30-4:30, with flexibility if those exact hours don’t work. We pay $25 an hour. We are hoping to find someone engaging and reliable with some experience working with children.

After School Babysitter Needed (Medford)

We live in Medford (MA), and are looking for a babysitter, 4 days a week, Monday-Thursday 2-5pm for my 3 1/2 year old and 6 year old. I would need someone who has a car and could pick them up from school about a mile at the most away. I can provide the car seats. 

We also have a small puppy currently so would also just need someone to let her outside in the yard for us.

Babysitter Needed

Lexington family looking for a regular Saturday babysitter to supervise two children, aged 5 and 2 at our home.  Hours needed are 2:30-6:30 pm.  Our schedule generally follows the public school schedule, so starting September 10 through June with school vacation weeks off.

We love music, dance, art projects, imagination play, and we read a lot of books!  Outside play encouraged— we have a fenced backyard and live on a quiet residential street.

$20-$25/hour depending on experience.
