Stress Less Week has come just in time to help ease the pain of finals! We’ll be celebrating by providing coloring pages and origami paper at the Library Service Desk all week–everything you need for an easy study break.
You can also join us at 3pm on Wednesday, 4/25, down at the Desk for Afternoon Tea. We’ll have a variety of teas and treats, so take a break and commiserate with your colleagues or grab a quick cup to bring back to your carrel!
Student Wellness Advising is also hosting a number of relaxing events, so be sure to check them out as well:
Friday 4/20, 3-4:30pm: Ice Cream and Furry Friends, Jaharis Courtyard (rain location: SK 507)
Monday 4/23, 12pm: Lunchtime Walk, Meet in front of 145 Harrison Ave

It’s the start of a new semester! Hirsh Library would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our new students and say “welcome back!” to our returning students. To help you start the semester off on the right foot, we invite you to join us for tea and treats on Tuesday 1/23 at 3pm down at the Library Service Desk! Be sure to stop by on Thursday 1/25 and Friday 1/26 as well–we’ll have puzzles out in honor of National Puzzle Day on 1/29. Hope to see you next week, but if we don’t, we’re sure we’ll see you soon!
The leaves are changing color and the weather’s getting colder. Fall is here! Wouldn’t it be nice to have a custom cozy to decorate your favorite seasonally-spiced hot drink? Stop by the Library Service Desk starting at 12pm on Thursday 9/21 and Friday 9/22 to create a cozy that’ll cradle your to-go cups and protect your hands in style. All you need to bring is your creativity!
The semester just started but we know you’re already hard at work! Take a moment to stretch your legs and join us down at the Library Service at 3:00pm on Wednesday for a quick study break. Have a cup of tea, a snack, and enjoy a chat with your fellow students!
To all the new residents on campus, welcome to Tufts’ Boston campus. We’re just around the corner from the Boston Garden, AMC Loews Movie Theater, Boston Opera House, Primark and don’t even get us started on the food.
The library service desk is located on the 4th floor by the Food for Thought Cafe. Come visit us, we’re happy to help you check out books, laptops, chargers, and anatomical models. Doing research and not getting the results you’re looking for? Stop by to meet with an on call librarian or select your favorite way to contact us from our home page.
Don’t forget to watch for your username and password — it will be coming in the mail sometime in the fall.

Congratulations Class of 2017! All of us at the Hirsh Health Sciences Library applaud your hard-earned accomplishments and we wish you the best in your future endeavors! We look forward to all the great work you will do.
Please note that the Library Service Desk will be closed this Saturday, May 20, as there will be a reception for the graduates taking place.
We know May is a busy time of year, and to top it all off the weather is finally starting to get really nice out! As you finish up your last exams, polish up your final papers and turn in your final assignments, please stop by the 4th floor library service desk to return any outstanding materials before you leave for the summer. Just a friendly reminder to those graduating this May, we need your items back before May 19th (next Friday) so that we can sign off on your accounts.
It’s Stress Less Week and we’re here to help! Join us at the Library Service Desk on Wednesday 4/26 from 3-4:30pm for a relaxing study break. Afternoon Tea won our Library March Madness Tournament last month, so what better way to help you de-stress than with your favorite thing?

And while you’re down there, don’t forget to vote in that day’s March Madness match-ups!
The weather is gross and you have a lot of work to do. Why not cheer yourself up by sending some love? This Thursday and Friday we’ll have a variety of supplies out at the Library Service Desk so you can make valentines for yourself, your friends, or that special someone (your favorite librarian, perhaps?).
