Reports to: Principal, Assistant Principal and Department Head
Job Goal: To instruct students in accordance with the educational philosophy, course objectives, and curriculum of the District.

To provide maximum learning opportunities for students in accordance with program objectives and each student’s abilities, interests, and needs.

The English As A Second Language (ESL) teacher is responsible for assessing and instructing English Language learners in the district. Additional responsibilities include consulting with colleagues, monitoring students who have achieved requirements to exit the ESL program and engaging with parents around the needs of student who are acquiring English as a second language. Seeking School Psychologist for Perkins School for the Blind

We are hiring a new school psychologist for our Deafblind program at Perkins! It’s an 
awesome place to work – the person leaving the position is only doing so 
because she is moving across the country. An ideal candidate would be 
someone experienced in working with students with multiple disabilities 
and/or sensory impairments. The job includes testing, counseling, and 
lots of consult and family collaboration. The description mentions 
behavior planning but really there are BCBAs who manage that. Knowledge 
of sign is a plus but not required.
