Babysitter Position (Tufts Area)

Seeking babysitter for morning help and weekly date nights.

Looking for someone to come to my house near Tufts and assist my 5 and 7 year old in the mornings (wake, watch show, dress, walk to schools) when I’m out of town traveling. My partner has to leave too early to help out (he’s a school teacher).

About 2-3 mornings per month this person would come over at 6:30/7am, get the kids ready, and walk them 0.4 miles to daycare/ West Somerville Neighborhood School (which are right across the street from each other) for drop off at 8am and 8:10am. 

Pay is negotiable, and I will pay you well for the 2 hours of morning work!

Nanny/Babysitter Position (Cambridge, MA)

We are searching for an afternoon nanny/ babysitter (thinking this would be a perfect student job!) to pick up our 2 boys (soon to be 7 and 5) from preschool and school respectively. Their schools are both located in the heart of Cambridge and 15 min walk apart. We are looking for this job to start at the end of September / first part of October and would be interested in someone that can take on a job like this for the school year (full academic year).

Hours : 2.30-5.30 pm 3-5 days a week with some possible flexibility for being available for full days (school closures) or ‘early release’ days based on school calendar. In general we have some flexibility for more or less hours but would like someone who can provide consistency in scheduling.

Pay: $25/hour – mostly we would need around 15 hours weekly (5 days of 3 hours) but there would be the possibility to add on hours. 2 sick days and 5 vacation days included for a full school year contract.

Responsibilities: pick up from school, bring boys for afternoon activities (eg swimming or piano lessons), to nearby park for outdoor plate or bring directly home for afternoon (home activities: reading, puzzles, drawing). Afternoon schedule depending on weather etc.

Tufts alum seeking babysitter(s) for our sweet and energetic 15 month old daughter. We live in Medford (1.8 miles from Tufts main campus) and have parking available at our home. The hours and number of days per week can be very flexible- ideal for a student with a non-traditional schedule.  Essentially looking for someone to help 1-3x a week to allow parents to run errands/complete chores with the potential for occasional evening/weekend hours to allow us to go out for a date. 
We are looking for a non-smoking individual who has previous experience with children and who is up to date on vaccines including  COVID vaccinated/boosted. Our family is COVID vaccinated and boosted including our 15 month old. 
Pay based on experience- $22-25/hour.

Babysitting (Cambridge, MA)

Hi all – looking for some afternoon help in Cambridge with our 3.5yo daughter. Details below!
Hours: Tuesdays and Thursday, 3:30pm-6:00pm for the fall. If you’re only free one day a week, please still reach out! Happy to split the coverage between two people.
Wage: $27
Benefits: Paid federal holidays off, ability to add more hours for date nights/school closures as mutually agreed upon
Duties: Pick-up 3.5yo from school (15 minute walk, 5 minute bus ride from house), feed a snack, play. We’re by a ton of playgrounds!
COVID: Looking for someone who is fully vaccinated and willing to wear a mask inside. We’ll also wear a mask when we’re in the same room as you – the only one maskless will be the kiddo.
About us: We’re a family of three near Danehy Park in Cambridge – less than a mile to the Alewife T stop and very close to several bus stops. Our 3.5yo loves playgrounds (and climbing equipment that is way too big for her), singing Daniel Tiger songs, and acting out scenes from Frozen. Babysitting Opportunity

A sitter is needed for my son in Medford (walkable to Tufts) for the full day (8:30 AM -4:30 PM) on August 31st.

My son is 9 months old, crawling, and very happy. He takes 2 naps a day for 1.5 hours each.

Babysitting Position

We are looking for a reliable caregiver for our sweet two year old Charlie. She is in school in the morning and naps at home, so we are looking for care for her when she wakes up until the end of our work day. She is an adventurous and curious explorer, and we love to keep her busy with arts and crafts, singing, reading, and exploring outside. We have a children’s library right on the corner, and playgrounds right across the street. My husband and I both work at home and we have two goldendoodles, though you will not be at all responsible for their care, but we do want you to feel comfortable with them being present.

Hours: 3:00 – 5:00/6:00 PM Monday- Friday with flexibility. (*Our start time is based on when Charlie wakes up from her nap, and seeing as she is two, this could change over the next few months. It could arrive a bit earlier, so the ability to start earlier is a plus.)

Requirements: Covid vaccine & booster. Clear and honest communication about symptoms and known exposures. We will do the same.

Start Date: Beginning the week of September 5th. Preference for full school year, also open to someone available for fall semester.

Pay: $22-25/hour based on experience

Seeking support 1-2 days per week in Somerville (about half a mile from Powder House Square) for our 18mo. Days are flexible and timing, too, but probably 9-12 or 10-1. Duties would include playing with her and taking her out for walks, playing at the park, feeding snacks.

We are seeking a babysitter for one 9-month-old baby in the Somerville/Medford hillside neighborhood near Tufts (off of North St.) Looking for:- Two days/week totaling about 6-7 hours: Tuesdays for sure and then Wednesdays or Thursdays from about 10am-1:30pm. Some flexibility on days/timing may be possible. – Start date: last week of August or first week of September.Responsibilities include regular baby care (playing, feeding lunch/bottle, changing diapers, walking to the playground nearby, etc.) He’s an easygoing baby who pretty much just likes to crawl around the house.
