Summer Art Director (summer camp in Berkshires)

Danbee Arts & Dance Camp, an all-girls program located in the Berkshires, is currently hiring for their summer 2024 Art Director.

We run two-week camp sessions for girls ages 10-15, giving them a space to grow as artists while also experiencing all of the fun of a traditional camp, like waterfront activities and special events, offered to complement studio time!

The Art Director fully supervises our arts programs. This includes overseeing 8-10 art instructors, the summer’s curriculum, studio upkeep, and our end-of-session art shows. Our program provides a non-competitive, supportive environment, so the Art Director promotes a learning environment that is not about being the best or most experienced, but is instead about being fun, encouraging, safe and age-appropriate. The ideal candidate is an experienced art educator with a bachelor’s in a relevant discipline, with strong organization and communication skills.

June 23 – August 4, 2024 in Hinsdale, MA. Competitive salary; paid travel to camp; meals and lodging included.

Interested applicants should send a resume to info@DanbeeArtsDance.com

We are seeking to fill this position no later than December 15, 2023. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
