Elementary Co-Teacher (Cambridge Montessori School Passport Program)

The Cambridge Montessori School’s Passport Auxiliary Programs provide extended day, vacation camps, and summer camp to families with students enrolled at the Cambridge Montessori School (CMS), as well as those in Cambridge and surrounding areas.

We are looking to hire additional staff for our toddler/primary and elementary extended day programs who may be interested in working at our program in the afternoon anywhere from 2-5 days per week. Our rates range from $20-25/hour depending on previous experience in this field and we can offer a maximum of 20 hours per week with some flexibility around candidates’ schedules and afternoon availability.

We’re looking for folks who enjoy working with children of various ages and who are reliable, communicative, and eager to learn and share their skills and interests. This opportunity is ongoing, as we have a winter and spring term, and then will be quickly transitioning to summer camp.

Please see the PDF below for more information and send your resume and references to Allison Lynch, Assistant Head of School at alynch@cambridgemontessori.org if you’re interested in applying.

Seeking Babysitter near Davis Square

We are seeking an occasional weekend evening babysitter for our 14 month old daughter this summer and into the next academic year. Our baby is good natured and sleeps through the night (as long as she has her paci)! We’re seeking an occasional date night sitter who would predominantly be watching our daughter after she has already been put down to bed – so, mostly watching the baby monitor and being on site in case anything were to happen. The ideal candidate would be an experienced sitter who is a non-smoker. We’re located in North Cambridge, less than a half mile from the Davis Square T-Stop (we can make a visitor’s parking pass available to those who drive). We anticipate needing a sitter for a few hours 1-2 evenings per month. The babysitter would need to be comfortable with dogs. We have a 4 year old goldendoodle who will be in the home. The sitter is not expected to walk/care for the dog, but the dog will be there (probably sleeping/demanding attention), so a comfort with dogs is important.

Pay is $20/hour. Please contact megan.lenneman@gmail.com if you’re interested!
