Summer Opportunity for the Yleana Leadership Foundation

The Yleana Leadership Foundation is interested in recruiting both grads and undergrads for a transformative SAT summer camp that is part SAT bootcamp, part on-campus college experience, and part traditional summer camp. We are looking for people who are willing to work hard and have an amazing time creating a summer camp experience for high school students from under-resourced communities.

*Note for summer 2022: We are going to host staff training and both sessions of camp in person at Colgate University. We’re excited to be back in person after two years of virtual camp!

Summer Teaching Opportunity

Training opportunity for any undergraduate or graduate-level students interested in gaining teaching experience working with children with ADHD. Summer trainees will receive extensive training in behavioral strategies to help with classroom management, as well as, gain over 200 hours of direct clinical experience!

Camp Baker is a therapeutic summer program based off of the Summer Treatment Program (STP) model and is specifically designed for 6–12-year-old children with ADHD.

Camp Baker is currently accepting applications for four roles: 1) Graduate Counselor, 2) Undergraduate Counselor, 3) Teacher, and 4) Teaching Assistant. All aspects of the training program are supervised by a licensed clinical psychologist. Trainees complete a week-long training prior to the start of treatment and receive ongoing supervision. Training begins *Friday, July 1, 2022, with the July 4th holiday off*. Camp Baker runs from *Monday, July 11th through Friday, August 19th, 2022.* Trainees typically work from 7:30am until 4:30pm and stay from 7:30am-6pm one evening per week.

Camp Counselor at Kingswood Camp

Dates: 6/13 – 8/14 (though partial stays are negotiable)

Salary: $2500 – $3500, depending on age and experience

Details: Kingswood Camp is an all-boys residential camp in Piermont, NH. Located on the shores of Lake Tarleton in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, the camp program offers campers a wide variety of activities (sports, boating, hiking, fishing, music, arts). Campers range in age from 8 -15. Counselors live in cabins with campers, lead instructional activities in the morning, and lead or participate in a variety of activities in the afternoon. Additional details: The entire administrative team at Kingswood are educators. If you are interested in becoming a teacher, Kingswood provides a wonderful opportunity to improve your lesson planning and ‘classroom’ management skills. You will be given a lot of autonomy, but we are always there to help you strengthen your instructional techniques or serve as a sounding board for any difficult situation you encounter.

Camp Baker is now accepting psychology trainees for a fun opportunity to gain direct service hours over the summer

Camp Baker at Judge Baker Children’s Center currently has graduate-level and undergraduate-level summer training positions available. Camp Baker is a therapeutic summer program based off of the Summer Treatment Program (STP) and is specifically designed for 6-12 year old children with ADHD. The STP has positive effects on the serious behavioral, social, and academic difficulties exhibited by children diagnosed with ADHD. 
Camp Baker is currently accepting applications for three roles:
1) Graduate Counselor,
2) Undergraduate Counselor,
3) Teaching Assistant.

The stipend for graduate-level positions is $2,500 and the stipend for undergraduate-level positions is $1,000.
