The Positive Regard Network (PRN) is actively seeking a School Psychologist for a unique opportunity to impact the mental and emotional well-being of students with special needs as well as mentor graduate and undergraduate students of School Psychology. This is a full-time, 12-month position with an excellent benefit package, but we would also be interested in speaking with applicants who might be seeking a part time schedule.

PRN educates students (ages 5-22) whose social, emotional and/or behavioral challenges cannot be supported by the public school system. We also serve children and adults on the autism spectrum in the home and in day programs. We are known throughout Western Massachusetts and the Greater Hartford (CT) area for enabling students to thrive outside of the traditional school setting through the variety of therapeutic programs that we offer.

Part-Time Nanny (Somerville)

We are seeking a part-time Nanny who can pick up our daughter (4.5 years old) from a Cambridge pre-school and take her to some after school activities (swim, dance, gymnastics). License and safe-driving record required. You can use your car or ours.We are looking for someone to care for our sweet and caring daughter. Hours: 3:00 PM – 6:15 PM. School is a 9-minute drive (or 23 minute walk on nice days) from our house (Somerville/Magoon T-stop on Green line)Expectations are for afternoons only M-W, ~3.25 hours a day. (We have someone scheduled for pick up Th and F, but we could possibly be flexible for the dates.)

  • Pick her up afterschool and take back to our home.
  • Transporting and attending toddler activity meet-ups
  • Unload and clean lunch box and water bottle.
  • There is a whole floor, bathroom, and shared outdoor space available for the caretaker.
  • Fold and put away her laundry 1x a week

Compensation: $25/hour

Math Tutor (3rd grade content, Medford)

Seeking math tutor for rising 4th grader to review concepts from 3rd grade over the summer, with the possibility to extend into the school year. 1 hour, 2x per week. $30 an hour. After-school Childcare (North Cambridge)

Our North Cambridge family of four (including our furry friend Mowgli)  is looking for some part-time, weekday, after-school childcare help for our funny, active, articulate, and kind 6-year-old boy.

We’re hoping to find someone, or two people, interested in 3.5–12 hours/week who would care for and play with our little guy, pick him up from school in North Cambridge at 3:00 pm, take him for lessons, or just work with him on chess, puzzles, and if possible Spanish. We would love it if someone could watch him from 3:00 until about 6:30 p.m. a few days a week (ideally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

We imagine this could be the perfect opportunity for a college or graduate student — particularly someone studying or otherwise interested in being part of a family with a fun kid, a dog, and a super awesome food business. We are a Spanish and Bengali-speaking family. Any help with Spanish would be greatly appreciated. English is our preferred language :).

There’s also the possibility of continuing with slightly different hours during the spring semester and perhaps even the summer, as well as weekend and nighttime sitting.

Compensation could be $20-25/hour, depending on experience. Parking will be reimbursed.

Having a car is a requirement because, on some days, he needs to go for lessons in Somerville or Cambridge, which are within driving distance.

CodeAdvantage After School Instructor

CodeAdvantage is an educational company that provides coding, robotics and other STEM classes to kids from K-8th grade to get them excited about programming, teach them CS fundamentals, and ultimately help them realize there is tremendous creative power in coding! They utilize a variety of techniques (eg video game programming, hacking Minecraft, Pokémon robotics) to get them excited while they are learning these critical skills!

CodeAdvantage works with over 100 schools in the Boston, Washington DC, NYC, and Chicago areas.  Currently, CodeAdvantage is expanding in Boston and the surrounding suburbs and is looking for Tufts University undergraduate and graduate students to work as instructors for their after-school classes.

Working part-time for CodeAdvantage will give students the opportunity to build their resumes and gain relevant work experience while inspiring the next generation of computer programmers and specialists in the STEM fields.  The work is only a few hours a week and pays $25 per hour.

CodeAdvantage is looking to recruit fun and engaging instructors for our video game design, coding, and robotics enrichment classes for kids (ages 5-13) in the local area!

Babysitter for toddler (West Somerville)

We are looking for a babysitter to care for (and play with) our 20 month old toddler 1-2 days a week (and/or for the occasional date night). One parent typically works in a home office and will be available to help if any questions or needs arise. 

Our daughter has a great sense of humor and loves to draw, listen to music / dance, go for walks in the stroller, and play in the nearby parks.  Hours: 2-6PM, 1-2 days per week on Monday, Tuesday, and/or Wednesday — we are flexible regarding the day(s)

Part Time Nanny Position (Winchester)

Hello! We are looking for a part-time nanny starting this fall for our three little girls. They are ages 4, 2.5 and 8 months. We are looking for help from 8:30-3:30/4pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, but days could possibly be flexible for the right candidate(s). 

Care will mostly be for our 8 month old and 2.5 year old while big sister attends school (8-2pm). We would need help picking her up at 2pm at her school (within brief walking distance but car will also be provided if needed). 

We are within walking distance of downtown  Winchester, parks and library and our girls love to get out of the house for outdoor play. 

We are offering $25 per hour. We are open to splitting the position between two candidates if needed (one to work Mondays and the other to work Tuesdays).
