The Medford Data Lab provides methodological and technological support for a ride range of data intensive services and support, including but not limited to GIS, statistics, data management, digital humanities and application development. To learn more about our full suite of services and support, please view the About the Data Lab page.
The Space Overview
The Medford Data Lab is divided into two spaces: The Computing Lab and the Instructional Classroom.
The Computing Lab is situated towards the front of the Medford Data Lab and is dedicated to individual and collaborative work at all times. The computing lab is staffed by student Lab Assistants and is open for use during the same hours as Tisch Library. Space and computers are available on a first come, first serve basis.
The Instructional Classroom is situated at the far end of the Data Lab and faculty or staff may reserve the Medford Data Lab classroom for semester long data intensive courses, one time classroom use, or for workshops and labs. Please contact the DataLab-Support Elist (DataLab-support@elist.tufts.edu) to reserve the space as early as possible, as dates and times are limited.
To learn more about the different hardware, peripherals, lab equipment and software in the Medford Data Lab, please see the Hardware and Equipment page and the Software Section.
