Djamila Khamisi Visits Tufts University

Rwandan engineer and educator, Djamila Khamisi, is the PEBL Fellow for the Rwanda Makerspace Consortium. In this role, she is managing the implementation of makerspaces in Rwandan schools as well as the training for the teachers. To prepare for the teacher training, Djamila spent three weeks at Tufts University collaborating with Tufts Center for Engineering Education and Outreach and Tufts Department of Education. Graduate student Meg Walker documented Djamila’s visit in this article for the Tufts Department of Education Bulletin.
