We are currently hiring for camp counselors for our Summer Camp. It’s a fun-filled position spent gaining valuable experience with kids ages 4-12. Staff will have the opportunity to facilitate activities, giving them experience in classroom management, student engagement, teamwork, and behavioral management.
We’re looking for team members who are motivated childcare workers, teachers, coaches, students, athletes, artists, and anyone ready to play hard and be goofy! Local community member is looking for a tutor for friend who has recently moved to the Medford area (Walking Ct.) from Haiti. He is fluent in Haitian Creole, Spanish and Portuguese.
This volunteer opportunity would be to support teaching in reading and writing in English. Availability for tutoring would be on an agreed upon time on the following days:

Empow Studios teaches kids 7-15 years old in STEM in classes after school and weekend, and in camps during the summer throughout the Greater Boston area. Our topics include coding, robotics, video game design, film & animation, digital design, and Minecraft.
Summer Camp Directors lead a team of instructors to inspire and educate youth to create projects using today’s latest computer technologies and engage campers with games, outdoor play, and other fun activities. $25-$30 per hour.
STEM Camp Instructors teach one tech class of typically 10 students per week and ensure that students have a great time learning and building cool stuff. $18-$25 per hour.
Both roles are full time approximately 8am-4:30pm M-F. Camps run 6 to 10 weeks, June 26-Sept 1. Camp locations run throughout the Greater Boston Area
The Varsity Assistant’s primary responsibilities are to ensure the safety of the athletes, assist the Head Coach in implementing the daily training plan, and be available to assist with tasks required to ensure a safe and successful Spring season outside of practice hours. The Varsity Assistant Coach is expected to attend practices and races for the duration of the Spring season.
The Varsity Assistant should be comfortable working with teenage boys and have experience teaching or coaching youth. The Varsity Assistant must be comfortable around water and willing to learn basic boat rigging, launch driving, and coaching skills. Rowing experience is preferred but not required.
The Varsity Boys practice six days per week at the Cambridge Boat Club:
Mon/Tue 3:30-5:30 PM
Wed/Thur/Fri 5:30-7:30 PM
Sat 10:00-1:00 PM
The Assistant Coach is expected to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the start of practice and should anticipate staying ~15-30 minutes after. Races take place most weekends in April and May.

Job Description
Tufts Center for Engineering Education and Outreach (CEEO) runs summer programs for students entering 1st through 9th grade. There are two workshops that happen at the same time and a series of different tasks involved with making those workshops run efficiently. We are looking for a summer employee who will be responsible for all of the behind the scenes work to make this operation run smoothly. Tasks will include preparation of registration materials, early morning check in (8AM) each Monday, communication with parents regarding registration and daily updates on workshop progress, ordering lunch, scheduling teaching assistant (TA) shifts and covering shifts when needed, taking photos and uploading them, and other tasks needed to make sure the workshops are successful.
