Milk (and ice cream) with Dignity

After an intensive “worker-driven social responsibility” campaign by Vermont-based Migrant Justice/Justicia Migrante around labor issues in the regional dairy sector, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream has become the first food corporation to sign an agreement addressingfair working and housing conditions for dairy workers at farms in the company’s supply chain.
