New Teachers Collaborative program (Devens)

New Teachers Collaborative is seeking recent college graduates who may be interested in the teaching profession.

Located in Devens, Massachusetts, New Teachers Collaborative (NTC) is a one-year program that allows candidates to secure full teacher licensure in Massachusetts and achieve one full-year of teaching experience. We are currently seeking graduates interested in teaching in middle and secondary schools but who have not yet taken education courses or who have not completed licensure requirements. College graduates who have degrees in the humanities, sciences, kinesiology, and Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply. School Psychologist openings (Andover School District)

Andover currently has a team of 11 psychologists, 17 social workers, and 5 BCBAs who work in a structured, multidisciplinary manner, overseen by admin who understand the needs of these disciplines (a clinical neuropsychologist). All of the new positions below are assigned to a single school team that includes other peer psychologists. It is very important to our model that no staff works in isolation, and that all mental and behavioral health staff are well-resourced with ongoing professional training and access to up-to-date materials.

  • Elementary Psychologist: This position is within an emotional and behavioral health program, and part of our family of district programs.
  • High School BRYT Program Clinical Coordinator: This is a coordinator position for our BRYT network program for students returning to school after a medical or mental health related absence.
  • High School Psychologist: This position supports high school level special programming (i.e. students with communication, social, and/or learning challenges).

Position Summary

The Fessenden School is looking for a creative, motivated, organized, and collaborative English teacher to connect with boys in grades 7-9. The teacher is responsible for teaching four classes of 14 to 16 boys and is a member of the Upper School team.  Being a collaborative member of the Upper School team is essential to the Fessenden model of having an integrated and a cross discipline approach to learning. Candidates should also have a deep knowledge of middle school literature and be prepared to creatively promote an appreciation for reading, literature, and critical thinking. Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills to manage and control a classroom
  • Ability to perform critical thinking, organization, prioritization and problem solving with minimal supervision
