A healthy future for the region

What would it take to nurture and strengthen our food systems–and the resource bases they depend on–as we move into an era of climate instability and disruption? A one-day conference this Wednesday will take a holistic look at regional resilience and health and how food fits into all that.

Food, Farms, Fisheries and Forests: Diet, Climate, Conservation, and a Healthy Future for New England” is sponsored by American Farmland Trust and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. It keys off the recommendations of the 2015 New England Food Vision created by Food Solutions New England.

The conference is not open to the public, but it will be live-streamed here.
