Agroecology at Tufts this Friday
If you’re interested in agroecology–an approach to food cultivation that emphasizes collaboration among species, including humans–check out this Friday’s Biology Department seminar presentation by Jennifer Blesh of Michigan State University. Her research focuses on soil fertility and nutrient cycling, especially of nitrogen, and her talk at Tufts will be called “Understanding impacts of agroecosystem diversification using a social-ecological systems approach.” She’ll be speaking in Nelson Auditorium (Anderson Hall) at 4 pm on Sept 14; there will be coffee, tea, and cookies beforehand if you show up early in the Biology Department!
