Our annual retreat!

Despite common assumptions, summer is anything but slow for us in admissions! While it might seem like a quiet time with no students around, we are fully occupied with onboarding the incoming class and planning for future classes. Our annual admissions retreat is a key event in our summer schedule — and it happened this past Tuesday! We cleared our schedules to focus on the year ahead. We covered a lot of ground, from discussing our committee structure + processes, yield events, and other ideas to support our recruitment efforts. There’s a lot to look forward to this upcoming year! While it may seem like just another meeting, this day allowed us to engage in meaningful, extended discussions that our usual busy schedules don’t permit. With a table full of fruit (thanks, Emily!) it was a refreshing change of pace despite the packed agenda. Stay cool, readers!
