MIB pre-session

MIB pre-session begins this week. In a change from the normal routine (a now-standard qualifier, that), it’s not the only game in town. Pre-session is usually a herald of the academic year to come, but with this year’s expanded Orientation, it’s just one of several student activities getting underway currently. Pre-session consists of an intensive two-week Strategic Management course. It’s mandatory for new MIB students, though also available to students in other degree programs with interests in this area. As is the norm, there’s a solid clutch of these folks – nearly two dozen this year – “opting in” on pre-session. It’s a great way for new students both to ramp up gradually to the full intensity of the academic semester and to start getting to know new classmates. Between pre-session and optional Orientation activities underway, a subset of the newest Fletcher students is already pretty busy!
