Readers, there is one month remaining until the January 10 application deadline! I always like to jump in with a one-month-left reminder as it feels like a useful amount of time. If you’re reading this and just now considering applying for fall 2021 enrollment, you’ve still got plenty of time to put together your best possible application, but now would be the moment to get started. Your recommenders will appreciate having as much time as possible to submit their letters on your behalf, and the ideal essays are rarely written the day before you submit your application. It’s also a good idea to request copies of transcripts with plenty of advance notice, and generally not put yourself in the position of needing to complete your application at the last minute.
That starts to sound like a lot, but I assure you it’s a doable set of tasks. Murray, your Minister of Deadline Reminders and Other Action Items, has a tendency to get bent out of shape easily, but there’s no need for you to do the same. Start by ensuring that you’re straight on the deadlines and requirements of the program to which you’re applying, dig into the extensive available online content to learn more, and as always, feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org at any time with questions.
